How did you meet?
Jesse and I met on Bumble. We began chatting for a week and really hit it off but then I didn’t hear from him again… After a week of no contact, my sister encouraged me to text him because he was the first person I had felt a connection with in a long time. To my surprise he responded.
Several weeks later, I asked him why he never texted me back and he was under the impression I had never texted him back. We went through our texts and found that he did respond but I never received the message, so we both thought we had been ghosted. We went on our first date to an orchard that had a sunflower field, a corn maze, a pumpkin patch, and animals. The first date was amazing, we talked and laughed for 5 hours straight and had an immediate connection.
Who proposed and how?
Jesse proposed to me on the top of a volcano called Haleakala in Hawaii. We were up above the clouds and it was a perfect moment.
Which Jeune gown did you fall in love with?
How was your experience?
I fell in love with London!
I went to nearly every bridal studio in central Iowa and could not connect with a dress. Luckily Kalon Bridal Studio was able to get me in before their store even officially opened. I was their first customer and I looked at all the dresses and knew I should try on London last because I had a feeling it would be the one, and it was. I didn’t want to take it off.

What was your favourite moment from the big day?
Saying our vows to each other. The moment was so special, we were both crying and really embracing our love for each other.
What advice would you share with future Jeune brides ?
Don’t let others get involved with your day. We did the whole wedding our way and it was truly the best and most fun night of our lives. We barely left each other’s sides. We invited all out-of-town people to our rehearsal dinner so we could spend that night catching up with friends and family. That way on our wedding day, we could really focus on each other.
