Our beautiful Real bride Madisyn chose our Jeune Bridal MARSEILLE wedding dress to marry the love of her life in a dream-come-true Lake Como wedding. Complete with bright, romantic florals, photoshoot on the iconic lake, and a very bridal-themed vintage car!
How did you meet?
Madisyn and her new husband Jonathan were high school sweethearts. Their journey begins with two years of friendship before beginning to date at the end of ninth grade. The couple have been together ever since. The sweetest type of love story.
“We met in seventh grade when he moved to Tennessee. We became friends and started dating on the last day of ninth grade!“
Who proposed and how?
For these two, their engagement story is just as grand as their wedding was – thanks to some detailed planning on Jonathan’s behalf.
“Jonathan proposed to me on a trip to Banff, Canada. He proposed on our first day at the top of Sulphur Mountain.”
The fun definitely didn’t end after Madisyn said yes.”Right after he asked, he planned a helicopter ride and dog sledding for the perfect day!”
Which Jeune gown did you fall in love with?
How was your experience?
“I fell in love with MARSEILLE!
I am not the type to dream about my dream wedding, or dress. When I started looking, I went to six different bridal boutiques. I felt like all the dresses I tried on were either not at all what I liked, or the exact same dress I’ve seen everyone wear. I went to White Magnolia Bridal in Nashville and that is where I found the dress! When the stylist brought me this gown, she told me not to look at it yet, but just put it on. I knew when I first tried it on that it was special.
I loved the uniqueness of the skirt, the low-cut back, and the corset bodice.”

Tell us about your wedding.
“We got married in a Villa on Lake Como, Italy. It was an intimate and romantic wedding with just our parents and siblings.”
What was your favourite moment from the big day?
“The whole day was a dream. We had a rain delay. When the wedding planner asked if we should move the ceremony place to the rain plan, I said ‘sure’. Jonathan then said ‘I have waited nine years to marry her. We can wait another hour to get married in the exact spot she planned on’. So we all waited for the rain to stop and got to have our perfect ceremony in the most beautiful spot because Jonathan wanted it to be perfect for us!”
Jonathan to the rescue! That was so sweet it literally brought a tear to our eye. Plus, they say that rain on your wedding day is a blessing and good luck in your marriage. Though with a love as pure as these two have, luck hardly seems needed.
What advice would you share with future Jeune brides ?
“Try on dresses you would not normally lean towards, and once you pick your dress, don’t compare it to others. You picked your dress for a reason and it will be perfect on your wedding day!”
